Confusion over Freedom Issues pervade today's society. Public support for religion is advocated as an antidote for social ills. Polorization on this issue is rampant in society. Roger Williams wrote extensively on this issue, no confusion existed in his mind as to where the boundary lines between the secular and sacred were to be drawn. While we do not know the exact date of his birth or death, the freedoms we enjoy today testify of Williams' passion for liberty of conscience.
